A few months
after the furious battle at Gettsburgh, Lincoln traveled to
a small Pennsylvania town to participate in a ceremony. His
speech, little regarded at the time, eloquently stated the Federal
cause. It is certainly the most famous presidential speech ever
delivered. In just three minutes, Abraham Lincoln delivered
one of the greatest expressions of democracy on our nation's
history.
